that’s “it’s planting season” is off of something and I can’t think of what. For some reason I’m thinking The Rats of Nimh but that doesn’t seem right. Anyway, the tomatoes are doing their seed thing!
First I got all my stuff together. I’ve been saving my toilet paper rolls. I cut them in thirds and fit them in Little Debbie boxes.
I also didn’t have near enough toilet paper rolls (never thought I did) so I used a bunch more Little Debbie boxes. And yes, we really did have this many Little Debbie boxes in use in my house, at the same time. It’s a sickness. A tasty one.
They all got filled with dirt and seeds poked in them.
I tried not making a mess, but it happens.
Faced them toward the window, watered and covered with plastic. I think the plastic does a greenhouse like effect. I’m really not sure. I saw it somewhere, about something.
I wanted to let them live in their little cardboard houses a while and let them get bigger, but I imagine since I had so many seeds I was squeezing in and around, I’ll have to put them outside sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for the next step!
